About the Mayor View Images	About the Mayor Mayor Al Baldwin Al is married to his wife Kathy and has four children and three dogs. For the last thirty-five years Al has owned and operated Beards Hardware, a downtown Main Street business. Al attended Lincoln High School and graduated from Vincennes University with a major in Business and Marketing. Al is active in community affairs. He is a member of the Vincennes Rotary Club, Trustee of the Vincennes Elks, a member of the Knox County Parks Board of Directors, a Director of the Children and Family Services and Southwest Regional Youth Village, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Knox County United Way. Al enjoys working in the public sector and has a firm belief that Vincennes can become one of the Midwest`s most successful cities.
